Terms and conditions

1. Mmile Africa Group (Pty)Ltd trading as Mmile Africa Tours carriers passengers liability, but we strongly advise tourists/ passengers to take out adequate travel insurance to cover personal accidents, medical expenses and loss of baggage.
2. All Transfers and Day/Overnight Tour rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR), as per person. Payment in the approved foreign currency will be accepted at the rate of exchange applied by the bankers of Mmile Africa Tours at the time of receipt of payment. Any short fall resulting from exchange rate fluctuations will be for the account of the client.
3. We require minimum of two people to conduct a tour at the scheduled rate, even for the private tour. A tour can be done with single traveler, at the published single rate, unless the tour is on special offer on that day.
4. Our tourists guide are English speaking. Other languages are available on request at a surcharge.
5. Private Tours are available and quoted for separately.
6. There is a surcharge of 10 % applicable on all Transfer requested between the hours of 21h00 – 06h00 for group of 1 – 7 people.
7. A trailer is available for excess luggage at a surcharge. One suitcase and one overnight bag per person allowed. Mmile Africa Tours accepts No responsibility for loss or damage to luggage or personal property from whatsoever cause arising. Passenger are advised to take up adequate insurance cover.
8. Mmile Africa Tours is able to provide baby seats at a surcharge when required, and it must be fitted by the guests, not by the Mmile Africa Tours’s employee. However, we do advise that guests supply their own seats for children and infants. Mmile Africa Tours cannot be held responsible should the seats provided not be suitable for the guests requirements.
9. We accept all major Credit Card, like Visa and Mastercard.
10. Should a transfer be confirmed for a future date with a 50% deposit, we will honour the rate as quoted when booked.
11. A cancellation fee of 100% of the total price applies for long distance transfers cancelled less than 12 hours and short distance transfers cancelled less than 4 hours in advance.
12. A 50% non-refundable deposit for all tours in payable on reservation and the balance is payable 2 weeks before departure. If a reservation is cancelled, a cancellation fee will be determined as follows:

Amendments and Cancellations Policy

• At least 20% prior to start of the Tour: 0% of the balance amount
• 19 -14 days prior to the start of the Tour: 30% of the balance amount
• 13 -7 days prior to the start of the Tour: 50% of the balance amount
• 6 – 3 days prior to the start of the Tour: 75% of the balance amount
• Less than 3 days prior to the start of the Tour: 100% of the balance amount

All Amendments and Cancellations shall only be valid if received by Mmile Africa Tours in writing

13. Smoking is not permitted on board on our Mmile Africa Tours vehicle. Comfort stops will be made en-route.
14. Transportation is in air-conditioned luxury vehicles, appreciate to the requirements of the Tour or Transfer and based on passenger number. Mmile Africa Tours reserves the right to sub-contract in an emergency, and when this right is exercised the substitute vehicle will, as far as circumstances permit ,compare equally with Mmile Africa Tours vehicles.
15. It is the responsibility of the agent and/ passengers to ensure that all the necessary documentation and/ or precautionary medication measurements are attended to prior to travel. Mmile Africa Tours does not accept responsibility in this regard.
16. Travellers undertake that they have, made themselves aware of and accept the potential hazards related to travel ,including injury, disease, loss or damage to property, incontinence and discomfort and satisfied themselves prior to booking that they are fit and able to complete the itinerary of the chosen tour. If the travellers has any pre-existing medical condition or illness, they must declare the true nature of such condition at the time of booking and make arrangements for the provision of any drugs or other cause of treatment which may be required during their trip.
17. Mmile Africa Tours shall at its discretion enforce conduct rules, and reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a passenger. Passengers shall obey every lawful instruction of any employee of Mmile Africa Tours.
18. Mmile Africa Tours shall not be responsible for the consequences on any delays whether arising from accidents, breakdowns, or any other cause.
19. Should an attraction be closed due to unforeseen circumstances, it will be, where possible, be substituted by an attraction in the same area.
20. All bank charges and commissions are for the depositor’s account.
21. We reserve the right to use a sedan vehicle for transfers of one to two people. Should a minibus be required for a transfer for one to two people we charge the extras
22. Disclaimer – Mmile Africa Tours ,their employees, agents and associates shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from any liability in respect on any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or any inconvenience to any person or their luggage or other personal property whether the same shall occur and whether the same shall arise from or be occasioned by the negligence of Mmile Africa Tours, their employees, agents,  associates and other persons indirectly in the employ or service of Mmile Africa Tours or otherwise under any circumstances whatsoever.
23. No refund will be made for No-Show, or any unused services irrespective of whether they form part of the basic tour price, or whether they are in respect of pre-booked optional arrangements.
24. Law – The law of the Republic of South Africa shall govern the relationship between Mmile Africa Tours and the passenger and the Courts of the Republic of South Africa shall have sole Jurisdiction in respect of any claim and/ or disputes which may arise between Mmile Africa Tours and the passenger, or Agent.
25. All drivers and Guide are licensed in terms of local legislation.
26. All Mmile Africa Tours vehicle are well maintained and comply with the South African safety regulations.
